Review of "Savannah Series" By: Danielle Jamie

"Savannah Series" By: Danielle Jamie

"Irresistible Desire", Book One
Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆

The Savannah novels follow Savannah’s story. In Irresistible Desire, Savannah is an assistant editor dating her boyfriend Logan for four years. After the two get engaged, Savannah discovers Logan in a compromising position and breaks off their engagement. She retreats from L.A. to Galveston, Texas. Enter star Kayden Knox, the charismatic ladies’ man. Although Savannah initially tries to resist his charms and avoid falling for him, her heart and body can’t help but do just that.  Savannah is a wonderful and strong character. I really loved that she didn’t second guess herself after catching Logan cheating, she just broke it off. Although she does try to guard her heart with Kayden, it’s clear that the two of them belong together and she gives love a second chance. Kayden seems the man that every woman should guard themselves against, yet when he is with Savannah the two of them only have one desire: each other. This book is an excellent read, drama, hot sex, and kicking a dirt bag to the curb. What more could you ask for?

"Inescapable Desire", Book Two Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆ In the beginning of Inescapable Desire, Logan shows up on Savannah’s doorstop in Texas attempting to win her back. When that doesn’t work out he will try anything to get Savannah back and he plays dirty. Luckily Kayden and Savannah are getting closer than ever. Unfortunately for the two of them, Logan is not the only obstacle to their happy ever after. The reader will be completely surprised at which character(s) pose a deadly threat to Savannah and Kayden’s happiness.  Although I don’t condone violence, I have to say that I love it that Savannah punched Logan. While we have to constrain ourselves in the real world it was amazing to see a cheating guy get what he deserves on the written page. Although I didn’t think it possible, this sequel may have even surpassed the original in every way. The sex is even hotter, the drama is even more intense, and the cliffhanger will leave your jaw on the floor. Danielle Jamie is a superb writer.

"Indestructible Desire", Book Three
Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆ Indestructible Desire picks up after Savannah’s near brush with death. She is injured both physically and emotionally and while the physical wounds heal the emotional wounds remain. Although Savannah finds herself again in Kayden’s arms, the emotional toll from her ordeal starts to take a toll on their relationship. One of her captors escaped and the thought of what he may do if he returns is terrifying. Will Savannah’s assailant return to finish what he started or will something else come between Kayden and Savannah’s happiness?  While Savannah and Kayden’s love for one another in the first two books of the series was both steamy and sweet I love that this book throws some major roadblocks in their relationship, including dealing with what happened to Savannah. If it is even possible, their efforts to overcome these obstacles makes the reader fall even more in love with them as a couple.

"Infinite Desire", Book Four
Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆ Sadly, Infinite Desire is the final book in the series, and wraps up the story of Kayden and Savannah. When last we left the two of them a nasty rumor found Savannah doubting Kayden. When Savannah realizes her mistake and comes back for him, will he be able to forgive her and move on so they can have their happy ending or is their love over for good?  With all the obstacles that have been thrown in front of the couple and Kayden’s unwavering devotion, I had to say that I wanted to shake Savannah and say what the hell are you doing doubting the man that’s been with you through so much the last three books? Each book in the series seemed to get better and better, culminating in this amazing conclusion. Infinite Desire is infinitely pleasing in every aspect.
