Summer Magic by C.L. Collier

Title: Summer Magic
Series: Summers in the Seaside Collection #5
Author: C.L. Collier
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: July 21, 2022

Life never goes as planned …

Two years ago, I lost my dream job.

Then, to make matters worse, I caught my boyfriend cheating on me.

Not knowing where else to turn, I escaped to my aunt’s house in Seaside, Oregon.

Now, I’m helping run her bed & breakfast, the Sandy Shore Inn. Life may not be what I’d planned, but I’m finally getting back on track.

That is until I meet Stone Ryder.

He’s famous for both his best selling novels and sexy good looks.

When he walks into the B&B, I’m caught off guard by how kind and humble he is. But what really shocks me is the unexpected spark of attraction between us.

Our chemistry is real, but Stone’s life is all about fiction.

Can we sustain the magic we feel when we’re together, or will it fizzle out as quickly as it started?

REVIEW
Rating: ☆☆☆☆

Welcome to seaside and this contemporary addition to the collection.

Olivia is in Seaside helping run her Aunt's B&B after losing her job and catching her boyfriend in bed with another woman. She is slightly mistrusting and avoiding relationships like the plague. When author Stone stays at the B&B she is instantly bowled over but tries to keep him at arm's length.

This was a sweet read with plenty of sugar and a dash of spice. It was good to the community surrounding Olivia, which is part of the reason I love them so much. There was a freedom that living in Seaside brought to Olivia that enabled her to be true to herself.

Welcome to Summers in Seaside, a small town located along the Oregon Coast and home of the Seaside Festival. This brand new series of short contemporary romance stories is filled with sun, sand and summer adventures that will tug at your heart strings.

C.L. Collier lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She was raised in the Seattle area, and although she lives closer to Portland, Oregon now, she frequently visits the hometown she loves. When she’s not writing, you can find her reading, watching her favorite sports teams, spending time with her family, or going to concerts. She likes her music loud, wine and coffee sweet, and her books steamy.
