There is no doubt that Patrick loves to have a good time. He is the life and soul of every room he is in. He works hard and he plays harder, having no problems getting women. When he joins the rest of his brothers, there is plenty of work to keep him busy.
Running a pub is not easy but Sloane is working hard alongside her brother to make a success of it. She is cautious and actually quite reserved but doesn't take any messing. Sloane is definitely a hard worker, rarely taking time off.
When these two meet there is a connection When Sloane is short-staffed Patrick doesn't hesitate to jump in and help out and to keep coming back to help. Sloane is a little bit of mystery, keeping a lot of herself hidden.
This was a quick read but it certainly packed a punch for me. Lots going on beneath the surface and Patrick pulling more of Sloane out of herself and vice versa. I really enjoyed this read.

I've had stories in my head since I was a child. All sorts of stories of fantasy, romance, mystery and anything else that captured my interest. I'm a voracious reader, and have spent many hours in my life devouring books, therefore it's only fitting I should write a few myself!
I've spent most of my life as a performing musician and band instrument repair technician, but that doesn't mean I'm pigeon-holed into one mold. I've been a university professor, belly dancer, craftsperson, soap maker, singer, rock band artist, jewelry maker, lifeguard, swim coach, and whatever else I feel like exploring. As one of my students said to me once, "Life's too short to ignore the opportunities." I have no intention of ever stopping so welcome to my story world. I hope you enjoy it!
