Book One Whistlin' Dixie:
Mac is trying to find out who is vandalizing his homes. The Coalson's are trying to get Grafton back to what it was before the flood. When he got the call from the sheriff, so he is know on the way to the station to file charges against the kids. What he doesn't expect was Dixie Harris one of the boys sister, she tried to get Mac to see that she doesn't think that Jaime and his friends are the vandals. Dixie couldn't get a hold of Mac, so she went to Coalson Construction Company to see him. This is Mac and Dixie's story.
Book Two Leather and Lace:
Angel's father didn't want her with Sam because in his mind he wasn't good enough. Sam doesn't want to have anything to do with Angel. Angel went to visit Chance and he agreed to help her with Sam as long as she helped him with Georgia. This is Sam and Angel's story.
Book Three Something's Gotta Give:
Georgia is in the chapel at the hospital praying for Chance. She doesn't want to loose him. Georgia doesn't think that she is good enough for Chance. Chance showed up at Georgia's daycare, when she was on her way back from the field that she was playing baseball with the kids, when she stepped on a softball and sprained her ankle. She isn't able to help out at the daycare because of her ankle and Chance offers to help Ms Dee with the daycare.
This is an amazing read, I loved how well this story is written and how well the characters were developed. I couldn't help but feel connected to the characters. This book held my interest throughout the whole story. I look forward to reading more books by Maggie Adams.
