Review of "Love's Ride" By: Chantel Rhondeau

Rating: ☆☆☆☆

When you have a chance to get know, really get to know the one who has attracted your attention, without any distractions do you take the opportunity or not?

Chelsea, psychologist at McCallister's Paradise, has attracted the attentions of resort manager, Brad, since her arrival a year ago. Brad is gruff, fast to lose his temper; everything that Chelsea avoids.

Two weeks survivalist trip on the island will either make or break them. Both become stripped bare as they confront why they are the way they are and both come to realise that changes must be made. This back to basics approach worked extremely well for Brad and Chelsea because there are no distractions or outside influences to get in the way.

There is plenty of the McCallister family either side of their adventure which enables the reader to fully get the impact of their time away.

With only Brad and Chelsea to focus on for the majority of the story, the author did a fantastic job of keeping it fresh and the reader engaged in their story and hoping for their HEA. It did take me a while to warm up to Chelsea but when you understand her more, you understand the reasons for her actions and attitudes.

  1. Thank you so much for the review! I really appreciate the time you took in reviewing all the McCallister Paradise books. I'm working on Book 5 right now!
