Review of "Collide" By: J.C. Hannigan

"Collide" By: J.C. Hannigan

Rating: ☆☆☆☆

A forbidden love story that has left me conflicted as to how I feel about it. I usually avoid this type of book because it falls on the other side of my comfort zone. That being said, it completely sucked me in as this was so much more than a forbidden love story.

Harlow's first day at a new school brings her into Mr Bentley's English class and an instant attraction between them that they try to ignore. Events overtake them as Harlow walks in on a girl being sexually attacked she steps in to help. The guy has powerful connections and usually gets out of trouble by threats, intimidation and daddy dearest. Harlow though is a tough cookie after going through a huge amount in her short life. Although the relationship between her and Iain Bentley is wrong, it makes her happy and gives her hope and gives her the strength needed to make a stand. What happens though when their relationship becomes public knowledge?

This was an intriguing read that kept me hooked from beginning to end. Whilst I wanted to dislike the characters, I couldn't as they have been superbly written to suck you into their lives.
