Review of "Lost (Nicki Sosebee #6)" By: Jade C. Jamison

"Lost (Nicki Sosebee #6)" By: Jade C. Jamison
Rating:☆☆☆☆☆

Being the sixth Nicki Sosebee in the series, it is a must that you read the rest to get the full benefit of this book. Jade C Jamison has managed to keep the series fresh and the reader interested and engaged.
Quick recap: Nicki is a freelance reporter for the local newspaper and a part-time waitress. She has a continuing attraction to two very hot men: Sean and Jesse. At the end of 'One More Time' she was in a serious relationship with one of them. The story that Nicki is chasing is almost incidental in this book as dealing with her personal issues need to take precedence. The daughter of one of the town's influential families has gone missing. Whilst this story line gathers pace towards the end of the book, I suspect the repercussions will be felt later as the series develops. Personally, Nicki is lost. Her relationship has ended as her fear of commitment consumed her. A large part of this book is spent with Nicki reflecting on her complicated relationship with Sean (one of the two hot men she is attracted to). She needs to convince herself that she has made the right decisions over both Sean and Jesse before she can move on. Another fantastic read and again different to the earlier books in the series. The style and the focus is directly linked to Nicki's emotions and focus. Jade C Jamison has created a character in Nicki Sosebee that the reader can enjoy, invest in and go on a journey with (and what a journey so far!), I can't wait to see where this series takes Nicki next!
