Tabby is the wild child and Chad the deputy sheriff who follows the rules. What becomes clear as you read this is that Tabby just likes to have fun but her style of fun doesn't fit into the small town norms. And Chad has little bit of a naughty side to him.
Tabby fights Chad not wanting to be tied down. She wants to travel the world and falling in love doesn't fit that plan. Chad is trying to shake his painful past in the quiet small town.
These were two contrasting characters that brought explosive chemistry when they are together. The pages sizzled with their heat. Small towns always present an interesting dynamic and this was absolutely no exception with its quirky and sometimes judgmental additions. Another great read from Tia Louise - one I really enjoyed.
