I am so loving this series. Blue is definitely a fine addition to it.
Blue is slightly different to the other characters as he is only connected to the MC through his father the President but he chose a different path, serving the town as a deputy. Blue's choices have not been great with him fighting his ex-wife for custody of their two children. She is a delightfully horrible individual, putting her own needs ahead of anyone else's.
Psalm is a soothing, kind hearted person who works hard on her business. She opens her home and her heart to those who need it and fosters dogs whilst they wait to find their forever home.
Both of these two compliment each other and both have feelings for the other. Blue won't act on it because he feels she deserves better and wants to focus on his children.
Along the way they have to deal with his horrible ex, events in the town and balancing his family and work life. I thoroughly enjoyed this read - it kept me hooked and on the edge of my seat throughout.
