Amaranth by Rachael Wade- Gavin and Camille met 2 years ago in Paris. She went to get away from her boyfriend in Seattle. Gavin told her to move to London. Camille know lives in Louisiana she goes to Louisiana State University majoring in Literature. Camille and Gavin meet again at the bookstore that she works at. Camille had a boyfriend that she has been trying to break up with for weeks but he just wasn't taking the hint. Gavin takes Camille out, he brings his friend Gabe along to pair up with Camille's friend Audrey. Audrey leaves to go back to Seattle. Gavin is hiding something from Camille and until that fateful night she doesn't find out. I really loved this story I was hooked from the beginning.
Aurora Sky Vampire Hunter by Nikki Jefford- Aurora is a senior at Daneli High school she is going to be leaving Alaska to go to college. When she is in a car accident that changes her life forever. She ended up at a Military Hospital instead of a normal hospital, that is where her mother signed over her rights to Aurora. Aurora has a special kind of blood it can be injected with the right combination of modified organisms and viruses that can make you deadly and powerful. She was saved for a specific reason a chance to serve not only your country but man kind. She doesn't want to be in the military but she has no choice though. When she went back to school she lost one of her closest friends and Fane started to talk to her. She had to go through some training, she had to kill a vampire. The Military gave her a mentor Dante, Aurora's mom really likes Dante. I really loved this story, I was drawn into this book.
Darkness of Light by Stacy Marie Brown- Ember looses a bet with her friend Ryan so she has to go to the dance. She sees her crush Ben standing in line at the drinks table so she goes over to talk to him. When Kallie comes over to tell Ben that he is needed at the DJ table and then she starts in on Ember. Things start happening as Ember gets angry. She gets accused of causing the electric explosion, The Sheriff has been going after Ember for the longest time. She sees a blue eyed man Torin he is trying to protect her from the queen. Mark and Ember get called down to the Sheriff station, Ember has to go to a different school for a month because the principal doesn't want her in his school. Mark doesn't understand why. She found her mom murdered,Mark thinks that they stopped therapy too soon. When she went to school she meets the green eyed man that she saw at the police office Eli. Torin tells her that her mother left clues to what she was before she was murdered. Eli can't be with her and he won tell her what she is. I loved this story, I was drawn in from the start.
Flight by Alyssa Rose Ivy- Allie and Jessica got offered jobs in Louisiana at the Cresent Hotel Allie's dad owns it. Jessica Likes to hook up with random guys, Allie has sworn off men. When they get to the hotel Allie sees a good looking man. Allie and Jessica decide to have a girls night so the go to a karaoke bar. Jessica makes her sing because she was pulling her away from a man that she just met at the bar. When they were done with the song Allie meets Levi the guy from the hotel. He invites them over to the table that he and his friends have, they go over and meet Owen and Jared. They show them around a little bit. They take them to a bar and meet Owen's sister Hailey. Jessica leaves after a one night stand with Jared. Levi shows her what he is and that he is a Pteron which is the most powerful. Levi is still keeping something from Allie what is it you will have to read the story to find out. I really loved this story so much. I'm going to read the rest of the series. The author's style of writing is amazing.
Whispers by Heather Hildenbrand- Whisper's favorite place to stand in the whole world is Bitner Park. It's a symbol for all she has lost and everything she'll be one day. When the darkness was complete she stood empty and alone the way that she liked it. Her parents were killed in a car accident, Tinker got her a SUV 3 weeks ago when she was released from Sky view Mental Hospital. She lives on Grant Farm where they foster injured Wildlife. She lives with her grandfather Tinker, her friend Erin has been trying to get her to go out more then Whisper wants to go out. She went to the wildlife refuge that her parents used to work at to get a injured wolf that is also pregnant. She went back to see the wolf and Toregan is there, he asks questions and he upset her so he took her to a room and tried to calm her down. Whisper finally decided to take Erin up on his offer of going to the bonfire, she got cut by Toregan cut her and then she had a run in with Barney. She ran into the woods after the run in with Barney, that's when she found a man unconscious. She didn't want to leave him but the paramedics made her saying that she could see him at the hospital. He finally woke up and she named him Dylan. I really enjoyed this book. Heather has a great style of writing that had me hooked from beginning to end.
