Review of "Night Visions" by: Elana Gray

"Night Visonions" By: Elena Gray
Rating:☆☆☆☆

Sam has been suffering from nightmares for years - they seem so real and sear themselves on her mind when she wakes. When she is awake she hears voices and has been having a vision of a woman in a white dress. She is also being followed. What does it all mean and who is following her? Scott is a friend but Sam kind of wants more but is being held back by her feelings for Ian, the man who left her several years ago. When Ian returns to take her to safety under the guise of taking Sam to her brother, he brings back all the feelings that she had for him. As the truth is revealed, Sam doesn't know if she can forgive the lies nor who to trust. The only way out for Sam is for her to embrace her true self as the distant past imprints on the present. This had me on the edge of my seat trying to work out what was going to happen, what was going on and who to trust. The reveal happened slowly throughout the book but you still had to wait until the end to get the full picture. How Sam is able to keep going without going crazy is a credit to her strength of character. She able to handle everything that happens to her and to forgive, to trust and to embrace her destiny. With Ian at her side anything is possible or is it? This is not a full on paranormal novel but deals with the genre in a subtle way.
