Review of "Dangerous" by: Suzanne Daniels

"Dangerous" By: Suzannah Daniels
Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆

Stone Hamilton and Dara Golding are complete opposites but find themselves drawn together over one summer. Stone portrays himself as a motor bike riding bad boy but inside he is hurting and hurting bad. Past events have made him believe that he is worthless and unlovable. Dara is one of the popular girls at school. Stone believes her to have the perfect life but underneath is hiding a lot of hurt too. When Dara takes a job in the store that Stone is managing, it doesn't take him long to realise that he is in serious trouble. Dara gets under his skin and doesn't gloss over the difficult stuff that he tries to hide from. She takes the time to get to know the man that he is and helps to confront his inner demons and in turn he helps her. Only thing can destroy this fragile relationship and that is the lie that Dara has told about her own family. I loved this book so much! It is two young adults trying to find their way in the world, through the emotions and difficulties of growing up and falling in love. Right from the start Suzannah Daniels turned the stereotypes for both Stone and Dara on their heads. Stone's attitude and bad boy demeanour is a cover for his vulnerability and fear of rejection, whilst Dara is a popular girl with the biggest heart and the warmest personality ever. The book leaves you wanting more of their story and thankfully there is more to come as this is the first in a series. I can't wait to read more!
