Delia Adair has been is Sunny Shores Rehabilitation for
the past 10 years. She has been having nightmares again from when her parents
died. She has been attending therapy with Dr. Jenkins. She threatens Delia with
knowing that she still has her nightmares and that she will eventually be off
her meds. When Delia leaves she will have no place to go. After she is let out
of the Rehabilitation she meets Liam. She was surprised that he didn't run like
the other girl did. Liam makes a total ass out of himself. Delia gets hungary
so she decides to go get something to eat. She gets kicked out of resturants
for what she did. So she went to the beach and played in the ocean and layed in
the sand for so long, that when she got up the sand started to burn her feet. She
sees a pier where she is going to end up sleeping tonight. She decided to try
one more place to see if they would feed her. When she went into the diner Liam
was there. So she ate with him. When she was done she headed to the pier to get
some sleep. Liam fallowed her to the pier and started yelling for her. She ran
she twisted her ankle. Liam takes her to his home to put ice on her ankle. Liam
figures out that she is that Delia. So Delia asks Liam why he is in Sunny
Shores he lies at first and then Delia calls bullshit. So Liam tells her why he
is really in Sunny Shores. If you want to know more you have to get the book. I
loved this book, its a book that I will
read over and over.

Review of "The Lake" by: Annalisa Grant

To be honest I wasn't sure that I was going to like this book but I was pleasantly surprised. I truly loved this story. I really connected with Layla. Layla has been having nightmares every night from when her parents were in a car accident and killed when Layla was 12 years old. She has been living with her Grandparents in Florida where her grandma blames Layla for the deaths of her parents. Her grandma died two years after Layla moved in and ever since then she has been taking care of her grandfather until he died. Layla is going to live with her Aunt Claire and Uncle Luke. Claire and Luke were going to send her off to boarding school thinking that Layla wouldn't want to live with them. Layla asked not to be sent to boarding school. Luke and Claire ask Layla to go to a concert in town. Layla see's a group of teens that turn out to be the kids of the partners at the law firm where Claire and Luke work. Layla came out of the Library and runs into Will Meyer and knocks his soda out of his hands. Will has to take Layla back to where Luke and Claire are because she doesn't remember where they sat. Claire and Layla go shopping and their last stop is a Borders Bookstore Layla turned the corner and almost knocks down the displays of books but Will was there to catch her before she knocked them over. Will asks Layla to go to the movies and dinner with him and his friends. Will is helping Luke with the basement at the house. Will asks Layla to go hiking with him and his friends. At the Bar-B-Que Will admits to having feelings for Layla, but they have one problem. If you want to know more you have to get the book. I can't wait for book two.

Kara is down on her luck and having a bad day, until a
knight in shining armour comes to her rescue. Simon Hudson has been obssessed
with Kara for over a year, admiring from a distance. Simon is intelligent, hot,
rich and a dominant male. When Kara collapses in the middle of the street he
has no choice but to rescue her. He takes her in and takes care of her,
offering her the opportunity to concentrate on her studies and he will take
care of the rest for one night together. Except one night will never be enough
for both of them but each have issues stopping them from committing. Kara feels
very insecure in Simon's rich world, feeling that she will never fit in. She
doesn't want anything to do with his money and does everything possible to give
it back. Simon's dominant character is a cover for his insecurities which are
both physical and emotional and run very deep. Can Kara strip these bare and
gain his trust and his love? Whilst this series is broken in bite sized chunks,
it is advisable to read them in one go. Watching Simon struggle with the
concept of being in a relationship and trusting someone else is interesting to
witness - having never been in a relationship before romance is an alien
concept to him. Join Kara and Simon on their journey of self discovery.

Firstly, wow! Secondly, Scott Hildreth has created two main
characters that are strong, independent and likeable. Of course Erik Ead being
a motorbike riding, tatoo cover, rich, intelligent man was always going to be a
winner. Being a psychiatrist is something different to the usual calibre of
alpha males. He knows exactly what he wants and goes for it - confident not
arrogant. With the character of Kelli, Hildreth had a different type of a
challenge and one that he more than met. Kelli is very strong, independent,
certainly knows her own mind, is secure in her sexuality and is completely
likeable. This book is completely different to any other book I have read in
this genre. It takes its time to explore the psychological parts of a dom/sub
relationship and spends time exploring the emotiions of the characters and what
makes them who they are through their own POV. There are plenty of HOT scenes
throughout but they are followed by the characters' reflections on what has
happened and how it shapes their emotions and them moving forward. A definite
must read!

Author Spotlight: Charlie Daye!
1. Tell us about your book/books? Children of Kria was
something I came up with while having a bad day. And since killing people in
today's society is highly frowned upon, I decided to create a world of immortal
assassins that seek justice for those who would never get it on their own. Each
story focuses on a different character in the world of Kriation and each
character responds to a different kind of heart ache. Let's take the first
three books in the series, for example.. Fury (Book 1) responds to the betrayal
of a man to a woman, Raithe (Book 2) responds to rape, Vengeance (Book 3)
responds to slavery and so on. The stories will differ from character to character. In some
instances you made read about how the assassins came to Kriation and in other
instances you may read about a hunt they go after already being a Child o Kria
and in some instances you'll get both. The books are action packed thrill rides
that are dark and deadly. They deal with issues that some may consider taboo or
just downright disturbing.This will be a new writing style for my current fans who are
used to my paranormal romance novels. You will find no romance in these books
since they are considered fantasy novels, however, I'll still give your happily
ever after.
2. How did you get started as a writer? I started writing at
a very young age. My first short story was written when I was 13 as a class
assignment. Most of the class wrote 1 to 2 pages, I wrote 8. From there, I
progressed into poetry before writing my first full length novel, The House. I
was working at a cemetery at the time and thought it would be fun to spend the
days using my surroundings for inspiration.
3. What’s a typical day like for you? Oh, my days are fairly boring. If the mood strikes to me to write I could easily spend anywhere from 8-12 hours in front of the computer. When I'm not writing and there isn't incessant amounts of laundry to be done, you'll find me with my nose stuck in a book.
4. Describe your work space. My work space is fondly
referred to as the dungeon because it's down in the basement area of my home.
However, it doesn't look like a basement. Besides my desk, I have an off white
love seat decorated with red throw pillows and New York themed art work.
5. Favorite Books? My favorite book of all time is Intensity
by Dean Koontz. It's the only book on my shelf that's been read more than
twice. I think my standing cunt is five times.
6. Tell us 3 interesting things about you. Hmmm...I have a
Barbie doll collection that's worth more than most people make in a month, I
grew up in several different foster homes and my longest standing relationship
has been with my BFF Melissa. We've been friends since we were eleven.
7. Favorite Quote: This world would be a much better place
if we all still thought with the mind of a child.
8. Best and worst part of being a writer? Best Part:
Creating worlds and people that have only ever lived in my mind and sharing
them with the world. Worst Part: The length of time it takes to complete one
book.
9. Advice to writers? To have a dream is easy. To make that
dream a reality takes courage and imagination. Never give up.

as it seems in this book. B N Toler has created a strong cast of characters,
each equipped to deal with the hands they are dealt and a story that is subtle
but quick paced. Whilst the story comes to a resolution based on the events of
this book, it is the first of a series with the story continuing in the next
book.
