Hudson West is the enemy.

The calm, arrogant, stupidly hot owner of the rival restaurant in town never fails to push Nico Shah’s buttons. So when he and Hudson are invited to collaborate to cater the Chesapeake Days festival, he wants to say hell no. But with his mother’s upcoming transplant, he needs that money.

Nico Shah is trouble.

Hudson’s noticed the gorgeous, witty flirt and has veered far away. He’s looking for commitment while Nico’s looking for his next flavor of the night. Except now that they’re working together, neither can ignore the chemistry that’s one spark away from burning down a forest. And when they finally collide, the connection is beyond anything either has experienced.

But with Nico still terrified of the word "boyfriend" and Hudson needing someone who belongs to him, this can only end in heartbreak.

Rating: ☆☆☆☆

We are back in Chesapeake Bay for Hudson and Nico's story. These guys start off as enemies and business rivals before being forced to work together brings out a different side of their relationship.

Hudson has opened a restaurant in direct competition to Nico's and stolen the band Nico wanted for an event at his. Nico tried to be nice, welcoming and supportive but Hudson throws it back in his face. In fairness Hudson feels he has to prove that he can make his restaurant a success single-handed to prove something to his family. His family believe he has thrown his life away when he quit medical school and that running a restaurant is beneath him.

As they work together the tension between them simmers over into a passion that sparks into life. However it is not plain sailing. Hudson is keen for this to become more while Nico is trying hard to run from more having never been in a relationship before. Nico has always been happy playing the field and never settling so that he can never be hurt.

The chemistry between these two was there from the start and it was fun watching their relationship turn from hate to love. I really enjoyed the verbal sparring that takes place between these two as they fight the feelings they have for the other. A great addition to the series and it was lovely to be back in Chesapeake Bay again.
