A tough and gritty read about two people who have plenty of imperfections that make their lives messy and complicated.
Shay and Trent have a hate-hate relationship that has turned into a love-love relationship. Trent is hiding his drug addiction from Shay and Shay is hiding her second job from Trent. There are plenty more secrets, lies and deception from all sides that their relationship seems more destructive than anything positive. However the moments that they spend with Shay's daughter Abby show a different side to their relationship and give a hope for their future.
Their story was tough to read as you won't agree with a lot of their decisions and especially Shay's single mindedness when it comes to Trent. However, stick with it to get to the beautiful moments and to reach their conclusion. There are certainly plenty of downs here but it makes the up moments all the more special. Get ready for a roller coaster of a ride.
