Review of "Love, Me" By: Lorraine Britt

"Love, Me" By: Lorraine Britt
Rating: ☆☆☆☆

This was a sweet, short read. My only complaint is that I wanted it to be longer to get under the characters' skins more and to understand in more detail the aftermath of war.

Juliet is living from day to day following the same routine everyday. Alone in the world after her father left her and her mother, then her mother left her, followed by the death of her grandparents, until Tim enters her diner, looking just as sad, alone and lost as she is. He is just about to ship out to on deployment and is scared. The instant connection between them gives them both the hope they need in their lives and fill the void that they have.

Juliet and Tim went full into their relationship very quickly and the letters they send each other are a sweet way to get through his service.

A sweet and romantic read.
