Synopsis
Marjorie Steel is still healing from the events of the past year, and she’s happy to put her plans to study culinary arts on hold to help her best friend deal with a difficult pregnancy and two recently adopted troubled boys. The fact that Bryce Simpson spends a lot of time at the Steel Ranch is a benefit, and she’s ready to see if her attraction to him might be something more.

Here we go again -buckle your seat belts and get ready for the ride!
The series has very much focused on the Steel brothers and the events of their childhood and Marjorie, their sister, has been very much in the background and is the last Steel standing, so I am really happy that she gets her turn. I did wonder how the overall story could be extended to incorporate more and to include Marjorie. I need not have worried - this has all the elements that I have come to expect from this series.
Marjorie has feelings for Bryce. Bryce is her brothers' friend so we have Bryce not wanting to act on his feelings because she the little sister of his friends. But also for Bryce there are feelings of unworthiness as Bryce's father was one of those responsible for what happened. There is concern from Bryce that he will turn out like his father.
The past that they all thought was resolved is still causing them issues and some of the gang become more wrapped up in an attempt to rekindle the problems. This was full of heart and soul as well as edge of your seat parts as I was trying to work out where the threat was coming from and for what purpose. This is not revealed but I'm hooked and waiting (not so) patiently for the next instalment.
