Review of "Fixing Him" by: Miranda Elaine

"Fixing Him" By: Miranda Elaine
Rating: ☆☆☆☆

Two contrasting characters from opposite ends of the spectrum.

When Montana inherits her grandfather's lake house, she is need of a contractor to fix the house ready for sale.  Sam is said contractor.  Montana's life has been unconventional, living on the road with her family and being home-schooled, not really experiencing the conventional until college.  Sam has never left town, comes from a trailer park and spends his life weighed down by responsibility.  He is also older than her and thinks he knows her type - rich and snobby.  But this couldn't be further than the truth and she is the most down to earth woman ever.  Who wouldn't be with a pet pig called Kermie?

The sparks between these two fly right from the get go and things can get hot and steamy if Sam ever lets his guard down and have a bit of fun.  These two balance each other greatly: Sam grounds Montana and Montana shows Sam that he can have fun and balance his responsibilities at the same time.

I loved Montana as a character - she is the type of person who would be everyone's best friend as she is able to get along with everyone.  Sam is completely sexy and a genuinely good guy.  This was a book I really enjoyed and with it being book 2 we got to revisit old friends from book 1.  This could be totally read as a standalone though.
