Whilst this was a quick read looking to bring some Christmas cheer, it felt a bit flat to me. I may have read one too many Christmas stories already this year but this one didn't shine through or sparkle as strongly.
Monique and Trace have a past together. Whilst Trace moved on and became a Country music star, Monique remained behind in Napa Valley. Monique has lost everything and is working hard to rebuild hers and her daughter's lives. Trace returns home and finds himself falling for Monique all over again. Can he convince Monique to take a chance?
It was still a cute read.
