"Today, Tomorrow, Forever: Carey's Revenge" By: K.A. Duggsy
Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆
I was stunned into silence by the ending of 'Today, Tomorrow, Forever' as I so was not expecting it to end that way. This completes the story and is an emotional and dark read.
We see Carey struggle to come to terms with the tragic events from the first book and grieve his loss of Enola and the dark thoughts that leads him to only one conclusion. The only thing keeping him going is his desire for revenge: a desire that is all encompassing and leads him further into danger.
This was a dark and gritty read that got completely under Carey's skin to show us his dark inner thoughts. A very difficult subject dealt with in a sensitive way. A fantastic read that kept me on the edge of my seat.
