Review of "Over The Ivy Wall" By: Rosa Sophia

"Over The Ivy Wall" By: Rosa Sophia
Rating: ☆☆☆☆

'Over the Ivy Wall' was an intriguing and interesting read.  It was beautifully poignant and unconventional.

Clara hasn't seen the outside of her Uncle's home since he took her in after her parents' death.  He is cruel, abusive and controlling.  When hiding one day, she stumbles on Gaven, who is walking on the other sided of the wall.  Gaven helps her see the situation she is in is not normal and helps her find the courage to escape.  Gaven struggles with emotions so the straight talking is what Clara needs.

This was a difficult issue dealt with sensitively and slightly differently to what I expected.  It was fate that brought these two together but it was the similarity of the characters and where they are emotionally.  It was a read that will stay with you long after the last word has been read.
