Review of "Ravel" By: Shari J. Ryan

"Ravel" By: Shari J. Ryan
Rating: 4.5

Daphne is at the bar alone that is full of Marines and she knows that Trent is going to have a fit about it. When she sees a Marine with his head down she decides that she is going to go talk to him. She finds out that he lost his brother overseas. Daphne decided that she is going to have a drink with him to honor his brother. Kemper was surprised when she toasted his brother. When he sees that she is behind and the only one that is working that he is going to help her out. Trent decides that he is going to go to the bar to see Daphne he is very furious to find out that she lied to him, what he doesn't expect is that Marines are going to protect her.

Daphne has been trying to leave Trent for the past three years. She writes in her journal everyday. she is 23 years old and she loves to figure skate. Kemper is a Marine, he is very loyal, caring and nice. He wants to help Daphne. Jacey runs the bar, she hates to see Daphne hurting. Trent is abusive, drunk, a drug addict. Doesn't care about anyone but himself. Jesse owns the rink that Daphne goes to to skate.

This is my first book by Shari J Ryan and I can honestly say that it will not be my last. This book is very well written and the characters are very well developed. I felt very connected to the characters.
