While Evanna was in college she met Jake Larson and they were together for three years and she decided that she was going to wait to see if she started to fill out applications for jobs to see where Jake was going to be. Jake got a job in his home town and everything changed. The only job that Evanna could find was at a library, where she met Gideon and Timothy. Evanna and Maddie her sister have been really close since there mothers death. Maddie took on the mother role to Evanna. Evanna couldn't get Gideon off of her mind, she goes to visit Timothy to take him more books.

Evanna is a journalist, has a job at a library where people hardly frequent. She was very nice to Timothy, Gideon is a very nice man, Amish, cares very deeply about his brother, Protective of Evanna. Timothy is 20 years old and has a mentality of a 4 to 5 year old. he is very nice. Maddie is Evanna's older sister, she is married, has two daughters.She is very protective of Evanna. Will is Maddie's husband, Evanna's brother in law.

This is my first book by Sara V. Zook. It's very well written and the characters are very well developed. I couldn't put this book down, I loved how well I connected to the characters. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
