A bitter sweet story. Reggie has been diagnosed with cancer and she has been given a prognosis of less than a year to live. Forced to drop out of college and move back home for treatment, away from the one person she has always loved but never had the courage to tell her, her best friend Desi.
The news is devastating for both of them but it forces them both to confront their feelings for each other and make the most of the time they have together.
Their time together is raw, emotional and poignant with the ups and downs they face. It is an incredibly emotive read from the tragic start to the unexpected end. It deals with harsh realities of undergoing such intensive treatment whilst being beautiful and romantic at the same time. A perfect balance and blend of reality and romance. An inspiring story of courage and taking a chance on love when there seems to be no hope that is brilliantly crafted. Life is short and every moment and opportunity should be seized because it could be the last.
