Lexi lost her family when she was little, she moved in with her aunt Ashley her mother's sister. What she didn't know was that she was moving in next door to a monster who hurt his family. One night she heard screaming and crying coming from next door and her aunt told her there was nothing that they could do because he has everyone bought. She then befriends Joesph. Lexi begged Joesph not to go to Mexico to choose her for once and he told her that he had to go. She chose to end their relationship for good. She started to go out with Nick, his sister is her best friend. When Emily goes into labor she hears a conversation between Nick and his sister that he didn't want her to know about. She then decided that she was going to go to Mexico by herself against Jake saying that he and some others would go.
Lexi doesn't understand why Joesph left her. She is 32 years old and she hasn't heard a thing from him in 9 months. Ashley is Lexi's aunt, she passed away from brain cancer. Joesph is in Mexico working for his uncle Michael. He doesn't understand why Lexi broke up with him, when all he is doing is making sure that he can keep them safe. He has a trust fund from his father that he refuses to touch and he wants to give it to the victims of his father. Michael is in his 70's and he used to be a fighter, he wants to know what happened to his brother and the collection that he had. He is holding something from the boys that they want. William is Michael's son. Sarah is Nick's sister, Lexi's friend.
This is the Third book in the You Loved Me Series. This book is very well written and the characters were very well developed. I can't wait to read more books by Evie Harper.

This is the first book in the You Loved Me series. This is my first book by Evie Harper and it wont be my last. Her style of writing hooks you from the first page. The Characters are very well developed and you can't help but fall in love with the characters. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

To Emily she was broken, ruined and worthless. Darkness has touched her more times then she could count, she isn't the same Emily as 5 years ago. She doesn't want to hurt her parents or Kayne, Kayne has been searching for Emily since she disappeared. Kayne told her to go live in the house and he would go stay at Dom's to give her the space that she wanted, he gave her a phone and told her to answer every time that hecalled her. Emily went behind Kayne's and her brother Jake's back to keep her eye on Donovan.
Emily doesn't think that she should put Kayne in any pain by being together. She is Jake's little sister, she started to see a therapist. Kayne is trying to make Emily understand that he isn't going anywhere and the only woman that he wants is Emily. Jake is Emily's older brother, he is getting married. They just returned from Australia. Lily is Jake's fiance and just returned from Australia. Joesph has been searching for Lexi since everything went down at his fathers, he is going to do anything he can to help keep the girls safe from the rest of his family. Lexi is helping Emily keep an eye on Donovan and she is hiding from Joesph.
This is the second book in the You Love Me Series, Emily and Kayne's story. It's very well written and the characters are very well developed. I suggest that you read the first book in this series before this one. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
