On Aleena's 21st birthday she wasn't planning on waiting tables at New York's priciest restaurants. Living in a big city nothing has turned out like she hoped. She is tired of not fitting in and not belonging. While working she was hit in the face by a costumer and she dropped plates. Her boss Gary wasn't happy after a costumer said that it was his fault and payed for the plates so she wouldn't get fired. But she ended up getting fired anyways. She started to freak out when she couldn't find her necklace that her grandmother gave her before she passed away.
Aleena is 21, she moved to New York City from a small town in Iowa 6 months ago. She preferred the city. Her mother died when she was eight years old. She has her associates degree in office administration. Molly is Aleena's only friend in New York, she is three years older then Aleena and she always flirts with her. Gary is a grabber, Aleena's boss, in his mid thirties. Dominic Snow found Aleena's necklace, he is a dominate and told Aleena about a place doing open interviews. Adopted. Fawna is Dominic's personal assistant, she is retiring, she has always been there for Dominic. Was his 6th grade English Teacher. She thinks that Aleena is going to be perfect to fit the role as his personal assistant.
M.S. Parker does it again, this book is an amazing read and it is a fast read. It's a very well written story and the characters were very well developed. This is one book that I know I will be able to read again. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

This book picks up right were the first one left off. Aleena and Dominic were at the house in the Hampton's for the launch party of Dominic's new business, when she went from her guest house to the main house to check it out. She was told by Janice that he has a guest with him in his quarters. Aleena decided to check out the rest of the house when she heard noises coming form his part of the house so she went to investigate the noises.
Aleena is very good at her job, she is biracial, she is very caring person. Molly is there for Aleena whenever she needs her. Aleena's closest and only friend in New York. Dominic is not a organized person, he has a strained relationship with his mother. Fawna is Dominic's old personal assistant, she cares deeply about Dominic. She has a grandson that she is know raising since her daughter passed away. Maxwell is Aleena's official driver, has been driving for the Snow family since he was 19 years old. He followed Dominic when he moved out.
This book is amazing it's very well written and the characters are very well developed you have to read the first book in order to understand what is happening in this book. I couldn't put this book down, its very fast paced and it held my interest throughout the whole story. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Aleena finally decides with the help of Molly that it's time for her to go back to the penthouse and tell Dominic that he hurt her by not standing up to his mother about what she said. When she got back to the penthouse she was told that he wasn't in and that he had to call Dominic to let him know that you were back. Dominic arrived back and found a letter taped on Aleena's door and he wasn't happy about it but he left her alone.
Aleena was hurt by both Dominic and his mother, she is biracial. Dominic has been worried sick about Aleena, he doesn't do relationships so this is all new to him. Molly is Aleena's best friend and when she finds out what happened she isn't happy. Jacqueline is Dominic's mother, she is very rude, she doesn't like people who don't come from class and money. Penelope is very rude, she comes from money. She also has a thing for Dominic.
This series keeps getting better and better. It's very well written and the characters are very well developed. This is a very fast paced story and it had me hooked from the first page. You have to read volume two before you read this book. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

Dominic decided that it was time to have the interior designer redo the condo, after Annette leaves she feels as if Dominic should be with someone like her. It's really nice to see that Aleena has a backbone when it comes to Penelope.You also get a look into Dominic's story. Aleena begins to get upset when every time that she asked Dominic to go out he never wanted to, so she thought that he was ashamed of her.
Aleena really doesn't like people who put race into play,she helps keep Dominic organized. Dominic has a very strained relationship with his mother. He is looking to branch out his match making business to Philadelphia. Masque Philadelphia was his first and most profitable business. Annette is the Interior Designer and told Aleena that Dominic helped her out after her husband drained the bank accounts. Francisco is Dominic's and Aleena's personal Chef. Wants to teach Aleena how to cook. Jacqueline is Dominic's mother, doesn't like Aleena or anyone in a social class lower than her. Has been trying to push Penelope and Dominic together. Penelope is very rude. She also likes to cause trouble.
This series just keeps on getting better. This book has so much emotion. This book picks up right were volume three leaves off. This book is very well written and the characters are very well developed. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Aleena always thought that Dominic was beautiful, now she realized all the scars that he hid inside, he seems more beautiful to her. Dominic finally started to take her out and the paparazzi. Dominic brought Mr. Pence to New York to work at the office their, to keep his eyes on him. He told Mitchell that Racism, sexual harassment wouldn't be tolerated here. Dominic thought that he would last a week but he only last a couple of hours.
Aleena doesn't like Mitchell Pence. She cares a lot for Dominic. Does what she can to help Dominic. Dominic cares a lot for Aleena, want's to find his his birth mother. Mr. Pence calls Aleena Brown sugar, he is a sexual harasser.
Penelope is a very rude person, tried to write a book about her heritage but the publishers didn't want to publish her book.She thinks that she is better than everyone.
This series just keeps getting better and better. I loved that the story is very well written and the characters are very well developed. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

Dominic was meeting with a private investigator to look for his biological mother. When he met with Mr. Kowalski he told Dominic that his father is a rude and that he sees the world in two groups their peers and everyone beneath them. Dominic's father told the PI that he might have been a black market adoption baby. After the meeting Dominic was punishing himself for being so selfish. Dominic put both his mother and wanna be girlfriend in their place.
Aleena knew what it ment to work hard, she loves Dominic, she has a backbone and isn't afraid to tell people what she thinks. Dominic is trying to find his birth mother, he admired Jefferson Sinclair. Jefferson Sinclair is a politician and he is very straight forward and honest person. He comes from new money. Mr. Kowalski is the PI that Dominic hired to find his mother. Penelope will do people who are barely legal and she likes to make fun of people that she hires. Hates Aleena for taking Dominic away from her. Jacqueline is always trying to push Dominic and Penelope together. Only wanted a child to love.
This is the final installment of this series. I truly loved this it's very well written and the characters are very well developed. This series is one series that I know I will be able to read again.
