Review of "Unexpected" by Jeanna E. Mann

"Unexpected" by Jeanna E. Mann
Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆

Like most Thursday nights they were short staffed at The Scotsman. Karly noticed that Randy was there at a booth, when she went over there to clean off the booth next to his, she notices that he was gone. She gets a text message from her sister, Karly gets concerned and called her to make sure that she was okay. Emma told her that it was really bad tonight. Karly called Mitch and told him that he was at it again and said that he should arrest him. Mitch told her that if he arrests him but Emma would go into the system. Karly told him that he should take her, he said how is he supposed to take her. There are two kinds of men one who stood their ground and those who ran. When Randy went to collect the money Scotty told him that he didn't have it, so he gave Scotty to the end of the night. Randy walked Karly to the bus stop and Karly kissed him. What happens next.

Karly is 23 years old, she wants to be able to take care of Emma but no judge would give custody of Emma. Has a alcoholic for a father. Waitress at The Scottsman. Randy is 26 years old smoking was his only vice, has a son but he is never allowed to see him. Emma is Karly's younger sister, Alcoholic for a father. Mitch is a cop, Emma and Karly's brother, has two kids and a baby on the way. Scotty is the owner of The Scotsman and owes Randy money. Josh works with Karly at The Scotsman.

I really loved this book, its book 1.5 in the Felony Romance Series. This is my first book by Jeanna Mann and it most definitely will not be my last. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. I will be getting the first book in this series as soon as I can. I loved how all the characters were very well developed. I loved Jeanna's style of writing and I was hooked from the first page!!
