Review of "He's No Saint" by AJ Harmon

“He’s No Saint” By: AJ Harmon Rating: ☆☆☆☆
I have been waiting for this book to come out for a while now, and was happy to receive my copy. Sex and the church don’t really go well together, as sex is not something openly talked about within religions. Tyler (Father) Hugh is a priest, but he is also just a man that has needs. The beginning of this story is how these needs are met by his long term arrangement with a prostitute Kit. Then Father Hugh meets Sister Meredith, also known as Amy. Tyler has stopped these appointments with Kit the prostitute, but she has a very unhealthy bond with him, and will not let Amy get in her way. The majority of the first half of the book is a lot of setup and background to what is to come. Tyler has been through a lot in his life, and the author obviously wants you to sympathize with him. Amy is just a pure, sweet, and innocent person whom Tyler falls very fond of, and in the end you are hoping to see the love they have be enough despite all the negative they’ve encountered. The ending was very surprising, and almost upsetting. After everything you go through in the book, all the ups and downs, the ending isn't all peaches and cream and disappointed the girl who wants the happy ending side of me. All in all this is a very good read by AJ Harmon who always captivates her readers with unique stories.
