Review of "Who We Were" By: Christy Sloat

"Who We Were" By: Christy Sloat
Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆

Sadie gets the chance at a clean slate. She is going to summer school at Alcott High, she is taking courses that are required for senior year now so that she would be able to have half day sessions. Then she will be taking creative writing courses at the local college preparing her for a university and hopefully an internship at a publishing firm. On the first day she met Nash Rylan and she was very surprised that he even talked to her. Nash has her sit with him at lunch and wants to take her to ice cream. Oliver asks Sadie if she has any cute friends, she told him about Lily but she also told him not to get his hopes up. She also meets Kyleigh in her class and they become friends, she also meets Nolan who wasn't surprised that she liked Nash. Lily and Sadie had a really bad fight and they stopped being friends.

Sadie goes to Ridgeline and she is looking forward to making friends over the summer. Nash hates Ridgeline, failed economics and a football player Nolan's twin brother. Nolan was sick, used to be a football player, has not been home in three weeks. Oliver Nash's friend, major player and football player. Lily doesn't use product, doesn't like football players and she is Sadie's friend and she works at the scoop. Kyleigh has class with Sadie, has hearing aides, she is really nice. Cara is Sadie's sister didn't come home for summer break because she wanted to be away from their mother.

I truly loved this book, I loved how the characters were very well developed. I also liked how I wasn't able to put this book down. Its a very fast read. I loved Christy's style of writing. This is my first book by Christy and it most definitely will not be my last. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone!!
