For two years, Dani Novak has lived vicariously through her best friend while slogging away at work and caring for her ill grandmother. But with her grandmother’s passing, a world of opportunity opens to her—if only she has the courage to seize it.

Publicly, Malik al-Saud is a wealthy, spoiled jet setter, but behind the scenes, he works hard at his vocation. Secretly a best-selling author, Malik struggles to keep his work separate from his playboy reputation—and above all, stay out of his disapproving father’s way.

For the last two years, they’ve been getting to know each other through his cousin and her best friend. Now, finally, it’s time for them to meet. It doesn’t take long for friendship to turn to more—but when Malik’s family issues interfere, things get ugly. Can they manage these unexpected complications? Dani fears that Malik’s lifelong antagonism with his family is insurmountable.

REVIEW
Rating: ☆☆☆☆

Both Malik and Dani have made appearances in both 'Charming Him' and 'Offside Rules'. Dani has been at a distance providing a lot of support for the group through her best friend Ben. I have wanted to find out more about both these two characters. Both previous books have been M/M books so this one is a departure on this.

It is evidence of Dani's character that when her grandmother passes away that the whole group of men want to be with her at the funeral to support her. Most of their interactions have been virtual. Her best friend convinces her to join them back in Europe and so begins the best adventure of her life. Malik spends most of his time dodging his father and his narrow minded views, living his own life. Malik is an unusual member of the uber rich group of friends as he works. He is a successful author writing under a pen name. Dani and Malik become close and the sparks fly.

Dani's outlook on life and her outspokenness is refreshing amongst a group of men who have had most things handed to them on a plate. Malik comes from a conservative background with a father with very traditional views, something that he is constantly at war with.

This was a great read with fantastic characters and old favourites. Once again the sumptuous background of Monaco and Paris amongst others was a contrast against Dani's background. It added so much to the story and challenged Malik to consider his own actions some more.

Louisa Masters started reading romance much earlier than her mother thought she should. While other teenagers were sneaking out of the house, Louisa was working out how to read romance novels without being discovered. As an adult, she feeds her addiction in every spare second, only occasionally tearing herself away to do things like answer the phone and pay bills. She lives in Melbourne, Australia, where she whines about the weather for most of the year while secretly admitting she'll probably never move.
