Review of Billionaire Unattainable - Mason by J.S. Scott

RATING: ☆☆☆☆☆

Oh Mason - quiet, stoic and keeps a distance from those around him.  A businessman with a killer instinct and who goes after what he wants and has an enormous amount of patience.  He can come across as standoffish and withdrawn until his walls are broken down and what you find is a huge amount of vulnerability and a fear of rejection.

Laura is a plus size model who openly wears her insecurities.  She desperately wants a child and is willing to go down the sperm donor route.  Mason worms his way into her life with his weekly phone calls until he is ready to make his move, opening up more to Laura than he has with anyone else, letting her find out his secrets.  This is massive for Mason as he risks his insecurities becoming real and being rejected as he fears.

I loved Mason's quiet determination and the fact that he had his own insecurities that were holding him back from having close relationships with anyone in his life.  I loved how Laura showed him the light and how they both worked to make the other feel more secure in themselves, building each other up.

I love J.S. Scott's writing and how each set of characters are unique along with their stories.  I was so excited to get my hands on this and it didn't disappoint.  I devoured it, falling in love with the characters along the way and absorbing every word as their story was weaved with the magic that J.S. Scott's writing brings.
