Clare thought her life was on track as she prepared to walk down the aisle on her wedding day, only to be stood up.  Deciding to go on her honeymoon solo gives Clare the chance to regroup and to think about what she wants for her future.  As she literally falls into Deacon's arms, she is tempted by the idea of a holiday fling.

Deacon brings back her spark and makes her feel special again, even though she resists to start with.  But their time together could be over before it can get going.

With a few surprises along the way, this was a fun and heartfelt read. I found myself able to relate to Clare and Deacon as the challenges of life get in the way their blossoming relationship.  A thoroughly engaging read.
