Psychotic, abusive ex. Check. Hot protector. Check. Damsel in distress. Check...wait not really. This damsel has some fight in her.

Terri has moved on after her husband ended up in prison for abusing her. She lives her life waitressing and looking over her shoulder. Now he's back and he wants her at all costs. The only person standing in his way is Luke, Terri's boss. Her ex though lets his anger rule, which makes it surprising he doesn't get caught straight away.

You can feel the frustration come off the page as the police are seemingly helpless to stop him and you can feel the hope as this brings Terri and Luke closer together.

This was a tense, edge of your seat read that you'll want to read in one sitting and don't forget to check under your bed when you're done!!
