Darkness into light. Loneliness into love.  This is a story that is seeped in sadness as we see the despair that Johnnie feels of being surrounded by people but being always in the shadows and ignored.  His fate is linked to that of Hugh's.

A paranormal story about lion shifters.  Hugh is Premier of the Pride.  As Premier he holds a huge amount of power and needs a Siphon to help contain it.  Johnnie is his Siphon.  Without a Siphon, Hugh dies.  Johnnie has spent his entire life in the shadows, known as the Siphon but not one single person has taken the time to get to know him.  Johnnie takes extra-ordinary steps to end this.  It is only then that Hugh actually takes a long, hard look at Johnnie and starts to see him as an individual.

As they grow closer, their bond grows stronger.  Their relationship develops into something so beautiful, sweet and hot that you fall a little deeper for both Hugh and Johnnie as the story unfolds.  From sadness to happiness, there are plenty of awww moments that make it a special read.
