Review of "Vampire's Bane" By: Suzannah Daniels

"Vampire's Bane" By: Suzannah Daniels
Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆

I loved this book. It was a completely different experience for me in a different world.  I got sucked into this world and became wrapped up in its creatures and the fight for survival by the characters.

You have a group of young people (some of the only survivors from a disease that has swept through the world) sent on a mission to meet other survivors of the mysterious Program, with only each other and their skills to count on.  Maylin is thrust into the role of group leader and the difficult decisions that come with it.  A strong, confident young woman, who is single minded in her quest for survival.

The group of young people are not the only survivors as they stumble upon a group of vampires and their other creature war.  There is an instant magnetism between Maylin and the vampire leader, Thane but Maylin has a mission and won't stop until it has been completed; putting her own needs last.  Their time with the vampires brings them into greater danger.

With a lot of mystery and uncertainty as to who to trust,it keeps you edge as you unravel the mysteries behind the characters and the mysteries of their world.

Whilst it is completely different from the other works I have read by Suzannah Daniels, it was a gripping read and still had the style of writing that I love so much. I cannot wait for more from this series as I want to unravel more of this mystery and this world.
