Such a sweet read.
I love best friend's brother and small town romance reads so this was always going to be a match made in heaven for me!
McKenna has always been in love with her best friend's brother ever since he offered to be her pretend groom but things never progressed. Rip has been in love with his sister's best friend forever but hadn't acted on it because he wanted her to follow her dreams and go to law school. How sweet and amazing!! But now she is back in town and he is done holding back.
This was, at times, frustrating. The reader knows they belong together, they both want to be together but neither come out and directly say they want the other. They dance around the issue which leaves plenty of room for misunderstanding.
All in all, a sweet read with sweet characters. I loved how it was all about the characters and their relationship - drama is at the bare minimum in this read.
