Zane lives and breathes football. His life doesn't have room for anything or anyone else but he is lonely. Whilst building his dream house, he believes he has furry friends staking out his home but instead it is Morgan who is squatting.

Morgan is living her life on edge, not knowing who to trust and hiding out from her abusive ex. She has nothing to her name and is isolated from everyone. When Zane discovers his human squatter, his reaction is all you can ask for and demonstrates who he is with the compassion and generosity he shows Morgan at her time of need.

The combination of Zane's kind heart, warmth  and compassion whilst being a strong, athletic man and Morgan's strength and ability to survive are what pulls you into the story.
