Review of "When He's Dirty" by Lisa Renee Jones

"When He's Dirty" by Lisa Renee Jones

Rating: 4.5*

It's time for Adrian's trilogy!

Member of Walker Security, Adrian has a dark past. His role in law enforcement undercover has taken its toll on him. Because of his past he keeps himself distant and removed from the rest of the team, believing that when they find out what he did, they will push him out. The guy that he brought down is due to go to trial but witnesses are dying. The prosecutor needs him. Adrian is prepared to go it alone but finds out quickly what being part of the Walker Security family is like.

Priscilla is the prosecutor but Adrian is not sure she can be trusted after all she was playing for the other side not so long ago. Priscilla desperately needs Adrian to make an appearance as her case is developing leaks. Whilst Priscilla needs to focus on the case and staying alive, she can't fight the attraction she feels for the mysterious and sexy Adrian. Adrian knows he should stay away from her but he just can't.

Danger is everywhere and it is impossible to know who to trust. With her boss, her ex, her father, and the guy she is prosecuting all having an angle, it is clear that Walker Security is her best bet. This had all the elements I love from Lisa Renee Jones. It kept me on the edge of my seat biting my nails, trying to work out who can be trusted and who is being truthful. The chemistry between Priscilla and Adrian was instant and off the charts. And as usual I am eagerly awaiting the next instalment after the cliff-hanger here.
