Rachel and Joe almost got together when they were younger but fate wasn't on their side. Now they are back in the same city, it is a chance for a second chance.
Their almost relationship sent Rachel into an unhealthy marriage. One she is still regaining her confidence from. Joe is everything she wanted and still wants. Along with his hotness, Joe compliments her by being supportive and not being destructive towards her.
This had plenty of ups and downs along the way as they both confront their posts and seize their futures together. I enjoyed this book and its characters. The writing pulled me into their story and I was fully engaged throughout, reading it in one sitting.
