So I was a little uneasy as I read this one as Sadie gets herself into a situation that keeps getting worse and each decision she makes means that her hole gets bigger.
Jaxson is on the receiving end of her bad choices but he gives her the opportunity to redeem herself and provides her with help she needs to escape.
This was a tense read, set against some beautiful beach settings, contrasted against the stark weather and scenery that led Sadie down this path.
I'm glad that I stuck with this book as it kept me hooked and on the edge of my seat. I found my opinions of Sadie changing as the truth is revealed about her situation. By the end I couldn't put it down and found myself rooting for Jaxson and Sadie.
