Review
Rating: 4.5*
I loved the premise behind this book and it didn't disappoint. Lonely man seeks female roommate for companionship. This is what Cash decides to do after he catches his ex-wife cheating on him. His job takes him away from home all week, leaving little time to develop friendships but makes him the perfect roommate.
Jade is a young single mum who is down on her luck and has a dark secret. She sets out to expose Cash but ends up forging a friendship and finding a place to live and call home, security for her and her daughter for the first time in a long time.
I loved the fact that they don't instantly fall in love and that it is a slow burning relationship. I loved how the secrets they both hold unfolded in a way that kept me hooked waiting for it all to fall into place and for them to be fully revealed. I loved how different this book was and how it kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat. So, so enjoyable.

Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child. She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped.
She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters.
She is now a mother of three girls, leaving her husband as the only man in a house full of females.
The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. Most importantly Leddy wanted to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.
