When football is everything and the rivalry between teams is taken to the extreme, you have Kayla.  Kayla was born into this rivalry and takes it seriously, being head cheerleader for her team.

An instant attraction between Jay and Kayla at a wedding turns into a nightmare when it becomes clear that Jay is Quarterback for Kayla's rival team.  Whilst it doesn't bother Jay so much it is a massive stumbling block for Kayla.

Jay and Kayla stumble through this fledgling romance, balancing their commitments, their school work with seeing each other whilst Kayla struggles with the guilt of dating someone from their rival team.  Football is serious business but love conquers all, doesn't it?

This was a full on, fast paced read with plenty to keep you hooked but it is the passion levels of Jay and Kayla that won me over.

Author Bio

Nikki Sloane landed in graphic design after her careers as a waitress, a screenwriter, and a ballroom dance instructor fell through. For eight years she worked for a design firm in that extremely tall, black, and tiered building in Chicago that went through an unfortunate name change during her time there. Now she lives in Kentucky and manages a team of graphic artists. She is married and has two sons, writes dirty books, and couldn't be any happier.
