I was immediately drawn to Myla's character. You can tell a lot about someone's character based on what they do in dangerous situations. Myla survived and did what she needed to do to protect her family from this danger. Her strength and courage is admirable.
Kyle never gave up on finding Myla and finds himself undercover protecting her. His confidence, coolness, persistence and focus provides a comfort under difficult and dangerous circumstances.
The chemistry between these two is off the charts and provides the additional incentive to escape unharmed from the prison she finds herself in. This chemistry also brings hope and a dash of reality to Myla along with the opportunity to be herself for the first time in a long time.
Suspenseful, edge of your seat, nail biting read combined with the heat and spice from the sparks that fly between these two and you have a perfect read.
