Pranking your new boss would usually get you fired but Lauren is not so lucky as her arrogant and surly boss rises to the challenge and in his pants.
The tension between Lauren and Austin is off the charts and is very much the driving force behind this book. The situations they find themselves in (in and out of the bedroom) go from 0 to 60 in very few words. Yet their actions are very childish at times and drove me crazy.
This was a fun and sexy read that I enjoyed, even though at times I found them frustrating.
When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
