There was nothing sweet about this read other than the chocolates made by Lia. It was hot, dirty, fast and will leave you gasping.
Underneath the heat though is a poignant feel with Lukas feeling he is broken and undeserving. But his strength shone out with Lia as his anchor. Lia comes alive with Lukas, stepping outside her comfort zone. Lia's strength and independence are just what Lukas needs.
With many wanting Lia and Lukas to fail, they are kept very much on their toes but, for the most part, remain focused on each other.
I loved the way this book was weaved together with the right balance between all its different elements. It is a book that left me breathless and wanting more: more of Lia and Lukas and their chemistry.
