Review of "The Fragile Fall" By: Kristy Love

"The Fragile Fall" By: Kristy Love
Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆

Kristy Love writes real stories that are raw and gritty and doesn't shy away from the difficult issues.

My heart broke for Will when he ends up living with his Aunt after his parents' deaths in a car accident.  My heart broke even more for Will when the events surrounding the accident are revealed.  Will's life has been incredibly sheltered so not only does he have to cope with the loss of his parents and moving somewhere new but experience so much that's new to him.  It is so overwhelming for him.  His Aunt's neighbours, Jax and Ryanne take him under their wing.  Jax and he become best friends and Ryanne and he become even closer.  But the fear of rejection and the overwhelming darkness he feels about his past, alongside guilt sees him going to extremes to take away his pain.

This was certainly an emotional read which I gasped and ugly cried my way through.  It is heart breaking yet hopeful and it is the hope that pulled me through to the end.
