Review of "Like a Lady Serial" By: S.J. Sawyer

"Like a Lady Serial" By: S.J. Sawyer
Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆

Red is trying to put her life back together after it fell apart. Mary Lou came to her house after two weeks of her not leaving her room and forced her out of her bed. Mary Lou and Red go to the lake but she isn't very happy because that is where Jake is going to be. The last thing Red expects is Mason Pierce to be home and step in to help her. After all the years of waiting and watching Mason finally gets Red to agree to go out with him, in Red's mind though it's just a summer fling until he goes back to school in the fall.

Scarlet Summer- Red, she has had her heart broken, was engaged to Jake. She works at a bakery. Mason is home from Oklahoma University for the Summer to help his father. He wants to be with Red. Monroe is Mason's roommate, messy, he came to help Mason. Mary Lou is very outspoken, Red's friend. She is a hairstylist. Lives with her brother Cash. Was raised by her father and 2 older brothers. Preston is Mason's friend, Emerson's boyfriend. Emerson family owns the bakery where Scarlet works. Red and Mary Lou's friend. Beau Reed is the cop in town, gives a lot of warnings out to Mary Lou. Melanie is Mason's younger sister, back from New York. Mary Lou, Red and Emerson's friend. Daisy is Caleb's girlfriend. Cash Mechanic, Mary Lou's Older brother.

This book is a amazing read, its very well written and the characters are very well developed. I loved that I could read the whole story in one book rather then having to get a bunch of different ones. I felt very connected to the characters and I can't wait to read more books by SJ Sawyer.
