Lexie was on her way to the movies with her mother when their car broke down in front of a garage owned by none other then the Sons of Templar, that's where Lexie met Killian. Zane decides that he is going to take them to the movies so that they can still go since Mia promised Lexie that they wouldn't miss the movie. She is determined to get Zane and her mother together because she wants to see her mother happy. In the mean timeshe meets her person in Killian. Lexie is heard singing by Sam, Noah and Wyatt singing and is asked to be in their band. Killian helps Lexie out with her Calculus homework because she isn't doing it right.
Lexie moved to Amber from DC. Doesn't know who her father is, she has a great relationship with her mother. She loves to read and is a good singer. Killian is Lexie's boyfriend, he was born into the Sons of Templar, his mother is a druggie. He doesn't want Lexie to see that side of his life. He cares a lot about Lexie. Mia is Lexie's mother, she can eat anything and not gain a pound, will do anything to keep Lexie protected. Zane is Part of the Sons of Templar, he has demons that he has to work through. He is there for Mia and Lexie. Wyatt is Lexie, Sam and Noah's friend and part of the band. Sam is Lexie, Noah and Wyatt's friend, major playboy, part of the band. Noah is part of the band, Sam, Wyatt and Lexie's friend.
This is my first book by Anne Malcom and I can honestly say that this book will not be my last. I loved how well this book is written and how well the characters were developed. I also loved that I felt very connected to the characters, I also found this book very hard for me to put down. This is the first book in the Unquiet Mind series and I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
