Review of "Savage Possession" By: Belinda Boring

"Savage Possession" By: Belinda Boring Rating: ☆☆☆☆

A tale of supernatural chess as someone or something is set to destroy Mason and Darcy and the clan around them.  This is the fifth book in series and at the end of the previous book, Darcy is nearly torn from Mason, with only one way to save her: for Darcy to become a vampire. The conversion is all the more tricky because both Mason and Darcy are wolves.  Darcy must balance the wolf within as well as her new vampire traits.  But with everything not as it seems and Darcy's actions becoming more and more erratic, there are lots of questions to be answered.

Darcy and Mason have had not had the ideal start to married life as they struggle to find their way through Darcy's changes and settle into married life.  Mason being the Alpha of the wolf pack and being pulled away to help investigate an unprecedented crime rate in the supernatural world, puts even more strain on the fledgling marriage.  The difficultly being for them is who can they trust and what is the end game?  As suspicions grow and the magic world sinks deeper into crime against supernatural creature, who will survive?

The combination of great characters, both good, bad and the in between, a great story and excellent writing pulls into the story and keeps you gripped to the edge of your seat as you try and work out where the story is going to take you next.  Each time you think you have worked it out, bang a curve ball gets thrown and takes you down an unexpected path.  The thrills and spills of this book keep you wanting more.  It doesn't stay still long enough for you to want to put it down.
