So Lars and Becca had an interesting first encounter on Valentine's Day. This is Becca at her bravest, taking a chance before her fears catch up with her. Lars is very grateful that she doesn't recognise him. 

Their second encounter is a little more mainstream on a blind date set up by their best friends. Football player Lars has never had to work so hard to chase down Becca when her fears get the better of her the second time.

I loved the way in which these two met - completely unique and set the scene for the entire book. With many hurdles along the way, Becca tries to overcome her fears of relationships but her default setting of running keeps getting in her way. Thankfully she is up against Lars whose role on the team is to get the ball over the line.
